Waiter, There’s a Gene in my Soup!
General
Mills, along with many other large manufactures such as kraft, have been known
to use products from genetically modified products. Gerneral mills is one of
the largest cereal producers, and has
been using corn that has been genetically engineered and modified. It is
believed up to 85% of all corn found in products in grocery stores contain
these GMO's, Monsanto being a large chunk of that. Until today, and with the
recent elections, these modified products do not need to be labeled on food
products on the shelves in stores under the FDA.
