Per Andreas Ramberg.

I decided to analyze one of Samsungs new Smart-TVs with the item number: UN60ES7500FXZA

This is an 60" TV with, amongst other things, voice and gesture controls. This is something I think will be the standard on most TVs in the future. Imagine an (almost) remote-free enviroment. It will be glorius.

Relative advantage
For me the fact that you can control this TV withouth having to punch 2-3-4 remotes is the relative advantage. Yes, it does cost a bit more than many other TVs, but as we all know, technology only gets cheaper.
Another advantage is that you can so much more than just watching TV. You can skype with your friends, browse the internet and watch movies with just plugging in your memorydisc. If  you own this TV, you dont have to have a computer in your lap when you are in the living room.
You also have something called Smart Hub which allows you to download apps.
I cant find any disadvantages with this device.

Compatability
When it comes to compatability it shouldnt be a problem with any cultures, beliefs or norms. That is, no one will think strangely of you if you own this - but you have to be the right person to buy it. It isnt for everyone. My mom and dad would never buy this TV cause they are what I like to call "tech-crippled" - that means that they can barely turn on their own computer - and obviously not use voice and/or gesture to control their TV.

Complexity
Here we got our first problem with this device. It is very complex - for most people. Most of the people in my generation can learn to use this TV - some easier than others, of course, but it shouldnt be so complex that we decide not to buy this TV if one does have the money.
But it is complex, and it might scare people (hopefully not cause its awesome) from buying it.

Trialability
This is the second problem. You can of course go to your nearest TV-shop and check it out, but you will probably not be able to configure the facial-recognition and some of the other features that comes with this TV. But I do think that if you are planning to invest in this TV, you have read articles/reviews online first - and therefore have gotten a sense of what its like.

Observability
As soon as you set it up in your living room, and configured it correctly, you should be able to see the results. Therefore the observability will be considered good. You can almost say that you dont even have to turn it on before you can see the changes as the TV-frame itself is almost like a piece of art – atleast if you put it beside your old CRT-TV.

Adaptability
As this is more than just a TV, I dont think you have to re-invent or modify this in any way. This is a TV, media center, internettbrowser and gaming center all integrated in a beautiful 60" alumiminumframe. What more could you want?
I bet some programmers can tweak it so you could install an OS and many other things, but as most people cant do that, the adapability isnt the greatest.
