Hidden Vision Flip-Out Television: https://www.hvtvmounts.com/shop/

STANDARD FLIP OUT - for 30" to 32" TV

This new technology is a flip-around television that can look like a painting, or serve as an entertainment screen.  This idea appeals to those who care about the interior artwork of their home, and would rather see a painting on their wall than a black TV screen.  It can also be used over one’s bed, allowing you to watch TV while lying in bed, as it can fold out and hang horizontally above the bed.

·         Relative Advantage
Unlike most televisions, it functions as two things: a painting with frame, and a television screen.  This provides an aesthetic element that most dormant TV’s lack.   It also has the other advantage of flipping out to different angles, giving the viewer more options of angles to watch from.
·         Observability
Is appealing because it can function as a decorative painting and an entertainment center.  The rack design is sleek and minimalistic, which people are attracted to.
·         Trialability
Difficult to try out in your own home because it needs to be installed, but it can be seen in the store on display.  People can see how it works but can not really try it out in a personal setting.
·         Compatibility
I think it would fit in to modern culture nicely.  It goes along with the trend of saving space with sleek designs and having multipurpose technologies.  Many people enjoy paintings in their house, as well as flat screen TV’s, so this product would be compatible with current societal trends.
·         Complexity/Adaptability
This idea is not too complex, it seems pretty easy to be able to flip around, and the TV should work like any other flat screen so people should already know how to use it for the most part.  Many people have paintings in their rooms, as well as televisions.  Having two in one would be a revolutionary addition to home living rooms.  I think if it was marketed well and offered at an affordable price people would buy it.

This new flip out television seems like a practical technology that I would really like in my home.  The only problem for me would be affordability.  If I could afford this product, however, I don’t see why I wouldn’t buy it.  It does a great job of being functional and appealing, and the idea is rather fresh.
